Chandrika
Founder and Director, Chandrika has worked for over a decade in the academic and publishing industries. With a host of experience as a researcher, coordinator, translator and editor, Chandrika heads the teams that provide all these facilities under the single umbrella of Birch India.
He is the co-author of the much-loved Hindi book Yadon ka Lal Galiyara, and holds a PhD in Knowledge Systems with his thesis on the Language and Lifestyle of Tribal Communities in Central India.
Reyazul Haque
Reyazul Haque nurtures an immense love of languages, with proficiency in three (Urdu, Hindi, and English), and learning his fourth (German). He has done his M.Phil from JNU, New Delhi, and is presently a PhD candidate at Humboldt University/Leibniz-ZMO, Berlin.
With more than 15 years’ experience in translation, editing, journalism, and professional writing in Hindi, Reyaz heads the International Languages division at Birch as the Coordinator and Facilitator.
Mriga Maithel
Mriga Maithel is an editor with over a decade of experience working with top publishing houses and bestselling authors. She has edited over 100 books across genres and nearly as many journal and magazine articles.
At Birch, Mriga is the Business Coordinator for Indian Languages.
